The impending recession and associated employment challenges make this a crucial time for Surrey based KLC Employment Law Consultants to embark on the Autumn “CIPD Law on Tour” of the UK. KLC employment law tutors have presented the CIPD Law on Tour Workshops twice a year for the past 18 years.

The Autumn Law on Tour Workshops will focus on key changes to legislation, including the proposed Equality Bill, the repeal of the Statutory Dispute Resolution Procedures, the new draft Acas Code of Practice on discipline and grievance, and mediation. There will also be a full review of all the important employment law cases that have recently been decided by the tribunals and courts.
The workshops, which are run throughout the UK over three weeks, are unique in that they not only provide a packed learning day, punctuated by really thought provoking case studies, but also provide the chance for delegates to share their knowledge and experiences with each other and gain an appreciation of how the issues they have are resolved in other organisations.

KLC Employment Law Consultants has been established for over 30 years and services include; tribunal representation, employment law consultancy and advice, investigation and mediation service, HR policy audit and development and public and bespoke in-house training.

Cas Carrington, partner, said, “It is a real pleasure for KLC to once again be able to present the CIPD Law on Tour Workshops and add real value to organisations across the UK. The current difficult times make it particularly relevant for employers to be fully aware of the law and some of the recent changes”.
