As a full service airline operating from its main hub of London Heathrow, bmi ( does not charge its customers for checking-in at the airport, checking-in baggage or seat allocation as outlined in our press release. In fact, bmi was the first airline to cut fuel surcharges on its mainline European and domestic operations out of London Heathrow and for many years has featured transparent pricing on its website.
