Tech visionary Dr. Hossein Eslambolchi and network management experts from Intelliden and TELUS will discuss how technology is the key to success in a down economy

In a joint presentation by Brian Lakey, Director, OSS Architecture & Strategy at TELUS, and Rahul Sachdev, Vice President, Marketing & Business Development for Intelliden, telecom executives will also hear how a standardized, automated and intelligent way to operate networks can help them better manage their network assets and people today and drive service innovation tomorrow.

On Tuesday November 18, 9:00 am -12:30 pm: Dr Eslambolchi will participate in a keynote panel and deliver a keynote address entitled, “The Power of Technology to Transform the Future.” The keynote presentation will outline Dr Eslambolchi’s vision for how new technologies will transform the world and our daily lives. The presentation will provide insight into top technology trends over the next several years, the evolution and future direction of Information Communication integral to every aspect of society: Digital Government, Commerce, Health Care, Education, and Security, as well as the resulting challenges and research opportunities for academia, industry, business, and society.

On Wednesday November 19, 4:00 pm: Brian Lakey of TELUS and Rahul Sachdev from Intelliden will jointly present a Next Generation OSS case study of TELUS’ network automation, entitled: “Look Ma – No Hands!”. Next Gen service providers will need to manage their IP networks in a holistic manner if they are to successfully deliver converged services reliably and cost-effectively as well as maximize customer quality of experience. The joint presentation will explore how TELUS is leveraging the next generation automation solution from Intelliden for network configuration and compliance, and reconciliation of critical network resource information using TMF standards.
