www.ProjectWORD.co.uk was launched in August 2008 and is the brainchild of Shropshire-based young entrepreneurs Jamie Delo and Sophia Luisada, who thought up the concept whilst studying Computer Science and Design Management at University.
For a one-off fee of £1.00 per word, users are able to buy keywords and link them to their website, gaining traffic and ultimately increasing the chance of smaller companies being found on Google.
Project WORD has an ever-increasing amount of unique visitors’ month-on-month; so far successfully linking more than 25,000 people to a website listed in their online Business Directory.
The website offers free online business cards; ideal for companies without a website and a business search engine for consumers to scroll through and find a suitable company to match their requirements.
A free Business and Marketing Forum has just been launched on the site, providing tips and responding to any business or marketing related queries, with the aim of helping small companies without the budget for professional advice, to survive against big competitors.
