Part of Managing Director’s agenda to ensure better visibility and alignment of goals across middle and executive management

London – 11 December, 2008 – SuccessFactors, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFSF), the global leader in on-demand performance and talent management solutions, today announced that Menzies Distribution, the UK’s leading provider of services to the newspaper and magazine market, has selected SuccessFactors to align employee goals and objectives with the company’s overall business strategy.

Menzies Distribution is a leading provider of added value distribution and marketing services to the newspaper and magazine supply chain in the UK. With a market share of around a third of the total UK market, each day Menzies Distribution handles 4.5 million newspapers (6 million on Sundays) and 2.5 million magazines covering more than 3,000 magazine titles, with deliveries to more than 21,500 customers such as major retailers, supermarkets and publishers. The company uses 1,400 vehicles covering 93,000 miles each day and employs over 4,500 employees.

Menzies Distribution will be deploying SuccessFactors in January 2009, initially to around 200 of its middle and executive management team, with additional rollouts scheduled a few months afterwards. As part of the project, the company is working with SuccessFactors partner, Jigsaw Technologies, to help configure the system.
