London, January 27, 2009: Setanta Sports has announced its three exclusively live Fifth Round games as the FA Cup gets down to the business end of the competition.
First up is Chelsea’s difficult trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford on Saturday, February 14th at 5.30pm. The game pitches Watford boss Brendan Rodgers up against his former employers Chelsea and also sees Frank Lampard Snr, now a consultant at Watford, meeting up with his son Frank Lampard Jr, who scored an amazing free kick for Chelsea against Ipswich in the last round.
The winner of the Everton and Liverpool replay at Goodison Park on February 4th will likely face Aston Villa at home, unless Doncaster Rovers can upset the formbook and pull off an amazing victory in the replay at Villa Park next week. After the Merseyside rivals have drawn twice in the recent days, both matches featured live on Setanta, it is even odds who will come through that match and progress to the Fifth Round.
The final tie sees Cardiff or Arsenal up against Premier League West Brom or Championship outfit Burnley. After a goalless draw at Ninian Park, Arsenal and Cardiff will go at it for a second time at the Emirates Stadium next week in the Fourth Round replay, a game exclusively live on Setanta on Tuesday, February 3rd at 7.45pm. Arsenal will be favourites to progress through to face Burnley or West Brom, who shared an exciting 2-2 draw in the Fourth Round, but nothing should be taken for granted in a competition that has already seen seven Premier League casualties.
The confirmed line-up of exclusively live FA Cup matches on Setanta Sports 1 is:
FA Cup Fourth Round Replay: Tuesday, February 3rd @ 7.45pm – Arsenal vs. Cardiff City
FA Cup Fifth Round: Saturday, February 14th @ 5.30pm – Watford vs. Chelsea
FA Cup Fifth Round: Sunday, February 15th @ 2.30pm – Liverpool/Everton vs. Aston Villa/Doncaster Rovers
FA Cup Fifth Round: Monday, February 16th @ 7.45pm – Cardiff City/Arsenal vs. West Bromwich Albion/Burnley
