One in Ten can’t keep a resolution for a month!

Have you kept to your New Year's Resolution?

Just three weeks into the New Year, Friendship & Dating website asked its members how their resolutions were faring and were amazed to discover a full 10% had already failed.

So which groups are letting us down? The figures revealed women were 2% more likely to fail than men but the worst offenders were the youngsters, with over 16% of under-30’s incapable of self denial. This is more than double the 7% failure rate from the over-50’s.

The statistics suggest the Welsh are least likely to keep their resolutions, with the men of Gwent and Gwynedd and the ladies from Clwyd all topping the failure chart with a massive 33% unable to last a month. The most willpower was found in Richmond where an impressive 66% claim to have kept to their resolution without a single lapse.
