Give new mums the gift of ‘me time’ this Mother’s Day

Pampers aims to provide mums with helpful advice in time for Mother’s Day on how to prep before having a baby, or adjust to motherhood, with advice from a Life Coach and Money Expert on the Pampers Village Parenting Panel

Note to all: The Pampers Village Parenting Panel includes Life Coach Sally-Ann Law and Money Expert Nicola Cairncross. Tailored and specific quotes are available from the experts relevant to your request. Pampers can also provide insights from celebrity mum - Sheree Murphy and relevant case studies from ‘real life’ mums.

With Mother’s Day approaching this March 22nd, why not give your wife or daughter the gift of ‘me time’? Whether it’s taking the baby out for the day, or to the grandparents for a couple of hours, or simply letting her relax on the sofa and watch her favourite TV programme – it’s free after all!

Pampers understands that it is important for new mums to get at least a little bit of time to themselves after having a baby to maintain a sense of their own identity while learning to adjust to motherhood.

The first few months fly by so quickly that mums will soon find themselves starting to think about returning to work - or not. Whatever preconceptions mums might have, Pampers understands that you never know how you’re going to feel until the time comes. Some mums embrace having more interaction with adults, while others find leaving their baby incredibly difficult.

Feelings of guilt also start surfacing at this time – becoming a mum can shift thoughts from ‘G-spots’ to ‘Guilt’ - a feeling that women need to learn to control once they’re a mum! – either guilt for enjoying the time spent away from your baby, or guilt for letting people down because you just can’t bear to part with your little one.

Also financial issues need to be taken into account, as some people can’t actually afford to go back to work, even if they want to.
Life Coach – Sally-Ann Law and Money Expert – Nicola Cairncross, on the Pampers Village Parenting Panel are on hand to give new mums some helpful advice, just in time for Mother’s Day.
