The CIVB is hosting the above press trip this year - 2-4 March.

If you are interested in joining this trip then please drop me a line... BUT the client is quite specific about target publications and on this occasion places are offered solely to writers with secured commissions in print publications with circulations of 50,000-plus. The trip will leave the UK on Monday 2nd March flying with BA from London Gatwick, departing at 7:00am (very early check-in!) and returning 4th March at 4:50pm.

Here is a brief synopsis of the trip:

Global warming and climate change are subjects the media simply cannot ignore. During this trip journalists will discover the leading role played by Bordeaux in the global wine industry thanks to the study it is conducting entitled “Bilan carbone” and the improvements it is recommending to reduce its carbon emissions. Journalists will meet winegrowers who use supervised control or organic methods for their vine growing. This trip will provide the opportunity to discover the health aspect of Bordeaux and journalists will also meet doctors and university professors.

Please get in touch with details of your commission and a brief biog if you are interested in the trip and I will send a copy of the full itinerary by email.
