The Grand National is set to take place at Aintree Racecourse on Thursday April 2nd and Saturday April 4th. The Grand National Aintree is regarded by many as the greatest steeplechase in the world.

Almost two and a quarter miles in length, the Aintree racecourse features 16 unique jumps - including drop and 90-degree turn fences - and is a huge test of horsemanship for both rider and steed.

This year's Grand National Runners set to take part in this year's edition of the showcase include last year's winner Comply Or Die, as well as a range of other competitors, such as Black Apalachi, Butlers Cabin, Hear The Echo and Snowy Morning.

All of them will be competing for record prize money of GBP900,000, an increase of GBP100,000 on the previous year.
