Carole Nash has signed a deal with the British Motorcycle Federation which will give bikers the chance to enjoy discounted entry to its two biggest shows.

Both the BMF Motorcycle Show and the Tail End Motorcycle Show will now bear the bike insurance company’s name, with the deal seeing reduced priced advance tickets being made available now to its policyholders for next month’s Carole Nash BMF Motorcycle Show at Peterborough.

As well as providing substantial financial support for what is Europe’s biggest outdoor bike show, the company has also agreed give away goodies during the showpiece cavalcade and to sponsor the Best In Show competition, giving the winner free insurance for a year.

The agreement also sees advanced tickets for September’s Carole Nash Tail End Motorcycle Show being offered to Carole Nash motorcycle insurance policy holders. To claim discounts for either event riders will need to quote a special discount code being published on and on flyers being sent with renewal and new policy documents.

Rebecca Donohue, Carole Nash’s head of marketing, said the sponsorship would build on strong relationships already forged with the BMF. “We have supported and worked with the BMF for many years and were keen not just to forge stronger ties but to come up with a deal which would benefit the wider biking community. Subsidising advanced tickets seemed a great way of achieving both aims in what are difficult economic times. Cheaper tickets will encourage more to attend what is a fantastic event.”

BMF chair Anna Zee welcomed the deal: “Sponsorship can greatly enhance BMF events. It helps offset our own set-up costs and minimise show entry fees. We’re delighted too that this agreement with Carole Nash also extends ticket discounts to the wider biking community, boosting the attendance and vitality of our shows.”

The BMF move is just the latest in a series of sponsorships backing UK and Irish events signed by Carole Nash. The ink has just dried on a new deal to sponsor key events in the classic bike calendar, including the Stafford showpiece International Classic Motorcycle Show, the Netley Marsh Eurojumble and the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show. It is already main sponsor of the NEC-hosted Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter Show, the London Motorcycle Show and the Carole Nash Irish Motorcycle & Scooter Show. The company also sponsors the MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show and supports many grassroots events and charity rides.
