Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty has entered the UK Professional Indemnity market by appointing a new team of 5 dedicated underwriters. The new team will be based in Allianz’s Underwriting Centre at 30 St Mary Axe, London EC3.
The new team will focus on covering the accountants, architects, construction, engineers, media and technology, solicitors and lawyers sectors with UK and international exposures. Mark Carver (previously of AIG UK) will lead the team as Head of Financial Lines supported by Lewis Edwards, David Cable, Matthew Lamplugh (all of whom join from AIG) and Jim Jack (from Zurich Financial Services).
