There is nothing better after a long, hard day than a hot bubble bath to help take away stresses and strains and aid relaxation. But this experience can soon be tainted if the bathroom you are supposed to be relaxing in has peeling paint and loose tiles and is looking tired and in need of a refresh.

But this will not be a problem for more than 30 per cent of respondents to a poll undertaken by Ratedpeople.com, who have said that they intend to renovate their bathrooms this year with the help of trusted tradesmen in their area, including a recommended bathroom designer to help create the perfect bathroom suite and recommended plumbers and a registered electrician to professionally plumb in new shower systems.

The poll also revealed that renovating the kitchen was the second most popular home improvement project planned, receiving 28.8 per cent of the votes, followed closely by 18.5 per cent who are transforming their bedrooms, 14.5 per cent who are changing their living rooms and only 3.4 who are doing up their dining rooms.

And Ratedpeople.com, the site that was established to overturn the traditional directory approach, will be helping all these home improvers to source the right tradespeople for their projects by matching them with recommended, trusted tradespeople from their area who have been rated by their previous customers.

Ratedpeople.com was established in 2005 and provides a nationwide network of tens of thousands of rated tradespeople, spanning over 25 trades and has been designed to easily match home improvers with interested local tradespeople.

So whether you are looking to fit a new shower, or add an en-suite to your bedroom, Ratedpeople.com can help you to find the right tradesperson for your home improvement needs.
