LEXINGTON, Mass., May 27, 2009 — Gomez, Inc. (www.gomez.com), the leader in Web application experience management, has won a contract to provide Live Nation with on demand services that will enable it to test and monitor the performance of its revamped global Web site portfolio, before (and after) it goes live over the summer. Live Nation is one of the world’s largest producers of live concerts. It sells over 90 percent of its tickets online and therefore ensuring Web pages and transactions perform well for its online customers is paramount. Live Nation will use Gomez’s load testing service to test how peak volumes of customers accessing its site to browse and buy tickets might impact the end-user experience. Load testing will help Live Nation to find and fix any problems prior to going live, enabling it to launch the new site with confidence.
Live Nation also bought Gomez’s active Web site performance monitoring service. It will use this to monitor the performance of its Web sites after they go live. By monitoring Web site performance from the “outside-in” – from its customers’ perspective - Live Nation will be alerted to any slow or unavailable aspects of its Web pages and content such as XHTML, images, and banner adverts.

If any of these systems fail our ability to service our customers will be severely impaired.
