London, 5th June 2009: ‘Web Marketing’, the one-day course in marketing effectively via the web from Cambridge Executive Development, to be held on Friday 26th June in Covent Garden, London, has been updated to cover the latest developments in Twitter, Blogging and Social Networks.

Requiring no specialist IT knowledge, this one-day workshop is designed to provide marketing professionals with a raft of immediately implementable techniques to raise the profile of the company’s website and increase visitor numbers. Hands-on practical sessions and advice, as well as guidance from two expert tutors, teach the key skills vital to making the most of web marketing opportunities.

According to Neil Baxter of Cambridge Executive Development, ‘Everyone knows the importance of the web as a key marketing tool, but sometimes the IT issues obscure the needs of marketing. This is the workshop that puts marketing professionals back in the driving seat. There’s no jargon or techno-speak – just solid, practical advice on how to get more traffic to your site and get the site to rank higher with the search engines.’

‘The two course presenters cover in detail the crucially important new aspects of social networking such as how to identify influential Bloggers – and, more importantly, how to devise engagement strategies for connecting with Bloggers – as well as developments in Twitter and how Tweeting can form a key part of your PR campaigns.’
