allow organisations both large and small to cut costs without reducing quality or service

Quantix, one of the UK’s leading providers of IT Support and managed services, scooped its third award of the year at the NEP Nottingham Business Awards on 7th July 2009.

Quantix received the ‘Business Innovation Award’ for its groundbreaking range of IT Managed Services, in particular GEM SaaS, a solution that delivers cost effective monitoring of databases, applications, security appliances and servers, and RapidRecovery, an always-on Disaster Recovery service. The award, sponsored by law firm Browne Jacobson, recognises organisations that have introduced new products & services which have made a significant contribution to the business and its customers.

In the past 12 months Quantix have been finalists in many industry awards, most notably winning the 'Mobility Solution Award' at the Channel Network Awards and then in March becoming 'Oracle Partner of the Year 2009'. Last night’s win continues the recent run of success for the Nottingham based organisation.

“We’ve had a great year because businesses are outsourcing and looking for innovative ways of managing their IT systems” says Simon Goodenough, Sales Director

“This is where we come in, offering solutions that allow organisations both large and small to cut costs without reducing quality or service. Subsequent to our management buy-out 2 years ago we put a lot of investment into both people and systems. We have developed managed services which we know the market wants” He added

Thus far in 2009 Quantix has defied the wider economic trend by reporting record figures for the fifth year in a row. Working closely ISIS Private Equity, Quantix is actively looking at ways to continue to expand its current operations.

With new initiatives like GEM and RapidRecovery, allied to continued demand from customers for its core database and applications managed services, Quantix is expected to maintain a double digit growth rate. Current forecasts for 2008/9 should see pre-tax earnings approach £2m, some 40% up on the previous year.
