Former TfL FORS Manager And Experienced Fleet Project Director Join Growing Company

LONDON, 16th July 09 – GreenRoad, a global pioneer in improving driving behaviour, today announced that it has added two executives to its UK team to support its expanding business. Lee Williamson and John Dimmer both bring a wealth of experience in fleet safety and project management and will work directly on large customer accounts.

Lee Williamson is a transport and logistics professional who joins the company as master driver. Previously, Lee was responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of Transport for London (TfL)’s Freight Operator Recognition Scheme. This initiative promotes sustainable freight distribution in London and includes a partnership with GreenRoad to encourage fleets to adopt GreenRoad’s Safety Centre service for safer and more fuel efficient driving. Lee spent 23 years in the British Army and held the role of subject matter expert related to transport management at policy, strategic and operational levels. His responsibilities included the development of driver training policies for the management of driver trade groups. Lee also spent five years as a fleet manager in heavy haulage distribution.

John Dimmer is taking up the position of senior projects director at GreenRoad. John has over 25 years’ experience in project management and has extensive experience of implementing projects, commissioning project offices and generating the associated processes for large-scale implementations. Prior to joining GreenRoad, John managed Civica Group’s Servitor product line with a team of 30 staff and was responsible for all implementations during the period. Previously he was the project director for the ‘C’ Vehicles Fleet Management System ensuring delivery on time and within budget. John also managed Project Bow providing service management solution for the fleet management workshop capability for a large police force. Project Bow was undertaken with tight timescales and was delivered on time at costs and with all specified functionality.

Lee Williamson and John Dimmer will be reporting to Aidan Rowsome, GreenRoad EMEA general manager.
