The comic, the cook and the circumnavigator – that sums up the celebrity judging panel for Britain’s Got Biking Talent with Carole Nash! Geordie GS-riders Ross Noble and Si King, together with world wandering adventure rider Nick Sanders, are the bike-mad big-shots set to cast a fans eye view over entries to the only competition that celebrates bikes owned by you, the ordinary biker.

Surrealist stand-up Noble is a fully paid up motorcycle maniac owning up to nine bikes at a time and eating up the miles between gigs on two wheels whenever he can. Hairy Biker King is as synonymous with biking as he is with food, which is handy given they’re his twin passions. Sanders, who has been described by MCN as “Britain’s barmiest round-the-world biker,” last year completed the latest in his series of globe-trotting adventures. The Parallel World project, detailed in a book and DVD, saw him travelling the earth - by the long way. Naturally!

The trio will be joined by MCN editor Marc “Pottski” Potter in having the enviable task of drooling over the great and the good from the world of UK biking, the bikes which through simple love and devotion are just that wee bit special. Their job will be to select just ten bikes in each of the entry categories so a shortlist can be presented to the great British biking public for the final reckoning.

The competition has now opened for entries in the Chops and Customs, Classics, Concourse and Restored, Sports, Street Modified and Streetfighters sections. Entering couldn’t be easier, you just click here and upload a picture of your pride and joy – be among the first 500 entrants and you’ll also receive a FREE Oxford Magnimate magnetic stand.

Once you’ve entered it’s just a matter of chewing your nails and seeing if you’re in to win one of the great prizes on offer. First place wins a Pole Position Travel VIP trip to a European MotoGP, second place earns a trip for two to the French Battlefields or £500 off a Fly Ride tour (£250 each) with MCI Tours whilst third spot claims a Trackday at a UK MotorSport Vision circuit.

On top of that the top 12 bikes will also take pride of place on a special Britain’s Got Biking Talent stand at this year’s Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter Show. They’ll also get a VIP press pass and overnight accommodation for the UK’s biggest show where the ultimate winners will be announced in front of the press. The delightful dozen will also feature in the must-have Carole Nash 2010 calendar which is set to decorate tens of thousands of garage and bedroom walls throughout next year.

With the organisers keen to attract those special but everyday bikes owned by Joe and Jo Biker it’s got to be worth snapping your machine and clicking that upload button. It only takes a few seconds and if you’re quick you’ll at the very least get your hands on a free Magnimate. To enter now just click here.
