Rita Didcock, Arrow Medical Ltd

Rita Didcock has been appointed Managing Director at Arrow Medical Ltd, one of Britain’s leading specialist contract medical manufacturers, based at Kington Herefordshire. Rita will be managing the facility at Kington whilst working with Graham Jarrett as Chief Executive Officer and John Johnson as New Product Development Director.

Rita has worked with Arrow Medical for more than 12 years and has been leading the production facility as production director since 2006. She succeeds John Johnson who will continue to play a very active role in sales support at board level with responsibility for New Product Development.

Rita’s early experience was in fabric and medical textile production. More recently she has played a critical part in increasing Arrow Medical’s clean room production capacity at Kington and paving the way for manufacture of Class III medical devices including implantable and invasive devices such as catheters. As production director she also led production of a number of ‘life critical’ theatre, anaesthesia, ventilation and air & fluid management components as well as supporting long term project development for major medical device customers.

John Johnson, one of Arrow Medical’s founding shareholders in 1989, continues as a director at Arrow Medical Ltd working with Rita Didcock, while director Graham Jarrett, will increase his operational support for the business as Chief Executive Officer.

Graham commented “Arrow Medical has faced and overcome a number of major business challenges in the last few years... mainly due to John’s leadership and Rita’s expertise and commitment so I am very pleased to congratulate Rita on her promotion, and pay tribute to John for his excellent contribution to the business during 20 years as Managing Director. I look forward to working with both of them as Arrow Medical continues to make headway in a very competitive and demanding contract medical manufacturing world.”

Arrow Medical was founded in 1989 by a group of medical device entrepreneurs who recognised the growing need for outsourcing of manufacturing of medical devices and equipment.
