In a recent survey conducted by T-Impact 54% of employers had concerns about the cost of contract resources and 69% believe partnership resourcing will help solve the problem.

Peter Smith the Operations Director of T-Impact says “The survey shows that in spite of the increasing economic stability within the economy, employers are still caught in the conflict between contractor resource costs and flexibility. Fortunately, T-Impact can reduce the effects of this conflict through its partnership resourcing service.”

What is partnership resourcing ? It’s a model that breaks free from the traditional supply of contract resources where T-Impact provides agile and flexible project resources who are employed by T-Impact on a monthly rate. This monthly rate is significantly lower than typical contract rates and in general companies can expect a reduction in their staffing costs of up to 20-40% using the service.

This means that customers benefit from the flexibility of contract staff together with a lower cost base, close to that of having permanent employees, but without the typical permanent employee overheads such as National Insurance, payroll, administration etc.

The contractor cost survey was conducted by T-Impact in November 2009 with a sample of 108 respondents primarily in the telecommunications industry. The detailed responses to the questions are:

Do you have concerns about the cost of using contract resources?

Yes 54%
No 42%
No comment 4%

Would Partnership Resourcing be an effective means of addressing the issue?

Yes 69%
No 23%
No comment 8%
