People who are staying in Melbourne hotels from the end of May will be able to take in the Amazing Bodies exhibition.
Opening on May 28th and running until the end of August, the showcase of science and biology gives people a chance to better understand how the body works.
Featuring displays of a number of creatures to compare and contrast movement with the human body, anyone who attends should be able to go "on a journey that is thought-provoking, educational and at the same time will generate a strong emotional and intellectual response".
The exhibition showcases specimens of animal and human bodies that have been plastinated to provide an anatomically detailed picture of how bodies work.
Among the animals that will be on show are a whale, giraffe, crocodile and ostrich, including a demonstration of the strength of a giraffe's neck and why ostriches cannot fly.
All of the unusual exhibits will be able to be viewed at the Waterfront City Piazza in the Docklands area of the city.
People will be able to gain access to the venue on a daily basis between 10:00 and 17:00 (local time).
Tickets are available online or through the Waterfront City Piazza and entry costs AU$25.
