Gloucestershire based public relations agency 10 Yetis has achieved the number 6 spot in the South West Creative Companies 'Ones to Watch' Guide; the only Gloucestershire company to make the list.
Leading consumer public relations agency www.10Yetis.co.uk has been awarded the number 6 spot in the South West Top 10 'Ones to Watch' category; a section within the highly esteemed "South West Top 100 Creative Agency" Guide. Established in 2005, the fast-growing Gloucester based firm was the only company in Gloucestershire to be mentioned within the category.
Despite the "Top 100" list usually collating their rankings on fee-based income alone, the guide decided to create the "Ones to Watch" category for agencies who they believed deserved an honourable mention for doing interesting and exciting work.
Competition for this category was sizeable due to the increasing amount of up and coming talent in the South West; making the accolade even higher.
10 Yetis has experienced considerable achievement and growth since its beginnings back in 2005. A vibrant, reputable and well established company; the agency focuses its work on a mixture of consumer and B2B campaigns. This year the company has witnessed fantastic growth, which is evident from the new business enquiries the agency receives on a regular basis.
Some of the largest projects that 10 Yetis have headed this year include the launch of the UK's leading daily city deals website, www.Groupola.com, which resulted in widespread national coverage for the client and also the launch of Tribewanted: Sierra Leone, a social experiment that first captured the imagination of travellers in 2006 with a project in Fiji.
Andy Barr, founder and Head Yeti at 10 Yetis Public Relations Agency, commented on the achievement
"We were thrilled when we found out we had made the number 6 spot of the list. The Guide is highly respected, not only within the South West area, but amongst the creative industry UK wide- and to have gained such an accolade is truly exciting.
"The fact that our ranking was based on the respectability of our work alone is testament to the hard graft that everyone has been putting in. We may be small in numbers, but our work is speaking volumes- gaining national coverage for our clients on a daily basis. The fact that we were the only Gloucestershire based business to make the category really shows how fast our reputation is growing, beating off the competition from Bristol and the surrounding counties."
