Music lovers will be on cloud nine if they have the chance to attend the BBC Proms in London this summer, with the fourth week of the programme running from August 8th to 14th.

There are some cracking performers set to appear in this year's edition, not least the combination of Iraqi guitarist Ilham Al Madfai and Damascus-born oud player Khyam Allami.

In order to catch this show, people should head down to the Royal Albert Hall on Monday August 9th, for a late night concert that begins at 22:00 BST.

Prices vary, with standing passes costing just £5, while those that want to sit down during the performance will need to pay between £7 and £35.

There will be several different 'Proms' taking place each day, with music by celebrated names such as Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Chopin, as well as a whole day of Bach on Saturday August 14th.
