This September, the Berlin Festival will once again offer the chance to enjoy two days of live music in the grounds of the city's former Tempelhof Airport.

Now in its fifth year, the event continues to go from strength to strength, with some of the world's top bands and solo artists preparing to thrill audiences in the German capital.

Hot Chip, Editors and LCD Soundsystem are among the biggest names at this year's festival, which takes place across three stages on Friday September 10th and Saturday September 11th.

As usual, the bill suits music fans with eclectic tastes and features artists that span several genres, including Robyn, Atari Teenage Riot, Tricky, Soulwax, Boys Noize and Peaches.

Single day tickets are available for €39 (£32.50) plus booking fee, while two-day admission is priced at €59.

Festival-goers staying in Berlin hotels can reach Tempelhof, which ceased operating as a commercial airport in 2008, in ten minutes by car from the city's Mitte district.

The festival site is also accessible via several bus and train services, with visitors encouraged to use public transport if possible, due to the limited number of parking spaces.

On both Friday and Saturday, the music will begin at approximately 14:00 local time.
