Leading UK and global educational staffing specialist, Randstad Education has reached the finals of the prestigious EducationInvestor 2010 awards in the ‘Supplier to the education sector’ category. The annual awards aim to celebrate innovation and excellence in the UK's education industry.

Randstad Education provides a quality, individual service to over 10,000 teachers and support staff and to the 15,000 schools who have used its service throughout the UK. Its teachers, assistants and lecturers work alongside 135,000 young people every day across 2,500 schools a week, positively shaping their lives at nurseries, schools, colleges and training organisations.

Randstad Education has made the top supplier to the education sector shortlist thanks to a number of new initiatives it has undertaken in the past year, not only to further refine and improve its outstanding service to clients but to actively support the education sector as a whole. Highlights include a 100 percent rating and commendation in the government’s Quality Mark scheme, launch of the Global Skillshare and Teacher’s Got Talent projects with leading development charity VSO, a schools competition to win a Formula 1 experience day, a new initiative to help schools recruit safely amidst confusing government policy and the decision to become official corporate supporters of children’s charity, Barnardo’s.

The EducationInvestor awards will be judged by an independent panel of industry experts and the winners will be announced at a glitzy awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 16th November.
