The newly launched Ludlow cast iron stove by AGA Stoves is destined to become a classic. Its simple lines and unfussy matt black styling make the Ludlow perfect for either traditional or contemporary interiors – and with a nominal heat output of 6.6kW it is perfect for creating a warm and cozy heart to any home. Plus, it’s up to three times more efficient than an open fire – using less fuel and generating more heat into the room.
The Ludlow is suitable for burning wood, coal, anthracite and peat briquettes and has been designed for medium sized properties – measuring 583mm x 457mm x 426mm. Featuring AGA Stoves’ “cool touch” black handle, a removable shaker grate, ash pan, fire fence and front ash tray it is exceptionally easy to use. And for additional warmth and comfort it can be left to burn overnight – just the thing for cold and frosty winter mornings.
By drawing on AGA’s long heritage of engineering and design excellence, the Ludlow has an adjustable primary and secondary air intake as well as a controllable tertiary airwash to keep the window spotlessly clean. To make installation and siting flexible it has top or rear flue outlets. The Ludlow retails at £845 and is available both through AGA’s network of stores, or independent retailers.
Eileen Slattery, Marketing Director, AGA Rangemaster said: “Everyone is looking to “do their bit” for the environment these days – and woodburning is proving exceptionally popular. Our expertise at AGA Stoves means that the Ludlow is the latest stove in a long line of quality and beautifully crafted stoves.”
