Jockey Club Racecourses Race Ahead with Payment Processing Services from Anderson Zaks

Anderson Zaks provides PCI DSS compliant payment card processing services for UK’s leading racecourse group

Leading independent payment solutions provider, Anderson Zaks, has been awarded a contract by Jockey Club Racecourses to provide payment card processing services across its 14 UK racecourses, including Aintree, Cheltenham, Epsom Downs and Newmarket. The services provided by Anderson Zaks will be based on its RedCard payment processing software, and will include management of card holder details on behalf of Jockey Club Racecourses. RedCard is Level 1, PCI DSS compliant, this is the highest level of secure card payment processing.
With 1.79 million racegoers flocking to Jockey Club Racecourses last year alone to enjoy such premier events as the Grand National Meeting, Derby Festival and Cheltenham Festival, reliable credit and debit card acceptance is important to maintain quality service for customers and deliver cost efficiencies.

Paul Fisher, Chief Operating Officer of Jockey Club Racecourses said, “We are pleased to have awarded Anderson Zaks a contract to support our payment card processing needs. They are providing us with a professional, reliable and secure service. This is important because our racecourses welcome large volumes of people and we insist on high standards in all areas of our business.”

Adina Ahmed, Technical Director at Anderson Zaks added, “With both Jockey Club Racecourses and Royal Ascot using our RedCard managed service we are seeing more and more organisations turn to third parties such as ourselves to manage their card information and thus conform to PCI standards. The cost of maintaining legacy systems which hold card information in-house is less cost-effective for most merchants looking to attain PCI DSS compliance.”
