Company Appoints New Vice President of EMEA Sales and Expands EMEA Channel Partner Program to Drive Growth
PASADENA, Calif. & SLOUGH, United Kingdom, Sep 01, 2010 -- Guidance Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:GUID) today outlined plans for its EMEA growth, following the appointment of its new Vice President of EMEA Sales, Frank Coggrave, along with the expansion of its EMEA channel partner program. Coggrave will spearhead Guidance Software's growth across Europe, Middle East and Africa, following record Q2 2010 revenues, and increased customer demand fuelled by rising instances of cyber security attacks, data breaches and the spiraling costs of electronic discovery.
Coggrave brings more than 20 years experience in managing high-tech business development operations throughout Europe with emphasis on creating and reviving markets and building channel partnerships. He has a long history in leading customer relationship and sales initiatives for mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Guidance Software, Coggrave was vice president of EMEA and general manager for NComputing, where he took on the task of revitalizing customer programs and EMEA operations that ultimately drove a significant sales increase. Coggrave has also held leadership roles at Telelogic, Continuus Software, Jacada, Texas Instruments and Websense. He holds a BSc in computer science from Brunel University.
Guidance Software's President and CEO Victor Limongelli commented, "Frank's appointment comes at a pivotal time in our growth. His leadership, market insight and customer relationships will help to drive sales and the expansion of our channel partner program will further extend our market reach across EMEA."
As the recognized world leader in e-discovery and digital investigations, Guidance Software is actively seeking to recruit channel reseller partners across EMEA for its range of cyber security, e-discovery and computer forensic solutions. In addition to its channel recruitment drive, Guidance Software will be providing dedicated channel marketing campaigns for its partners across EMEA to support both its security solutions, as well as its EnCase eDiscovery platform.
Guidance Software recently announced EnCase(R) eDiscovery version 4, new software that provides a single, unified solution that addresses all of the stages of the electronic discovery process that organizations want to bring in house. With EnCase eDiscovery, risk and costs are lower because organizations don't have to spend time or money trying to integrate incompatible point solutions for each step in the e-discovery process, or transfer data between, and train users on, disparate systems. EnCase eDiscovery also offers the industry's first "true early case assessment" by allowing legal teams to analyze and review data at any stage of the electronic discovery process, enabling better case strategy decisions to be made faster.
