Today, SuccessFactors, Inc. (Nasdaq: SFSF) announced the integration of the recently acquired CubeTree social collaboration offering with the SuccessFactors Business Execution (BizX) Suite at SuccessConnect Chicago, the fourth of five SuccessFactors customer conferences around the globe.

The tightly integrated social collaboration solution with CubeTree allows more than eight million SuccessFactors users, at more than 3,000 companies from every industry and corner of the world, to easily collaborate across all roles, departments and geographies. The new features allow companies to increase productivity and simultaneously strengthen the alignment of day-to-day work with corporate goals and objectives. The basic integrated offering will be available for free to all SuccessFactors customers and a premium version will also be available.

Single Sign-On
Single sign-on (SSO) enables employees to sign in only once to access SuccessFactors BizX and CubeTree features. Users will be able to use new SSO features to sign into SuccessFactors to access their BizX dashboard, social networking and collaboration capabilities.

Synchronized Automatically
Employee profile information from the SuccessFactors Business Execution Suite is automatically synchronized to the social collaboration environment, making it easy to:

Allow automatic provisioning and de-provisioning of users
Make sure employees have the proper access based on their current employment status

Empower employees to start collaborating immediately without waiting for colleagues to accept invitations

Let employees find relevant colleagues to follow and build robust social graphs

Global Cloud Infrastructure
The enterprise social and collaboration capabilities from CubeTree will be run in SuccessFactors' global cloud computing infrastructure. With the largest number of paying users in the business cloud, SuccessFactors' global cloud footprint is also the largest in its class, operating more than half a dozen data centers across the United States, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.

Robust Social Collaboration Made Easy
CubeTree offers extensive social networking and collaboration features from micro-blogging to wikis and document sharing. The integrated social and collaboration environment from CubeTree can be easily accessed from almost anywhere via Web browser, a desktop application or on-the-go with native mobile applications for iPhone, BlackBerry or any mobile browser. Users can comment or share updates via instant message or email and receive update feeds from colleagues the same way.

Both the integrated free and premium social offerings are expected to be generally available to all SuccessFactors customers in a few months, subject to completion of development.
