- Seasoned NHS director boosts the Evolve healthcare strategy and market development team -

London & Belfast – September 27th, 2010 – Kainos, ( the IT consulting company and developers of the Evolve™ healthcare solution, today announced that it has fortified its healthcare experience pool with the appointment of Brendan Major. Brendan will work on the development and positioning of the company’s Evolve EDM solution for healthcare services.

Brendan comes to Kainos Evolve with an impressive career that spans some 12 years in the NHS and socialcare market having most recently served as director of Trust Engagement with BT’s UK healthcare programme where he managed the company’s relationship with London’s 74 Healthcare Trusts. Prior to that Brendan was director of Information and Communication Technology at ‘Barts and The London NHS Trust’ running a health informatics service supporting 5 acute hospitals, a mental health service, and 3 Primary Care Trusts. While at Barts Brendan was seconded to the NHS Connecting for Health negotiation team and sat on the London CfH Board as director of IT infrastructure for the capital’s NHS estate.
