For just 10p, a North Shields resident would have been celebrating becoming a millionaire if they had played on their property with new national prize game GeoSweep.com.

GeoSweep.com, which launched at the weekend, announced that their daily £million draw had landed on a North Shields property but as the plot of land or ‘Geo’ hadn’t been purchased for the big money game, there was no winner.

GeoSweep.com is a location-based game where players choose a plot of land or a ‘Geo’. This means that people can play on their house, where they had their first kiss or anywhere they would like! These plots are entered into two draws every day – the first with a guaranteed winner of at least £5,000, which was won by a lucky person from Kingston, London, and the second with a jackpot of £1million. Not too bad for a 10p flutter!

Unfortunately for the residents of Wallington Avenue, North Shields this means that they missed out on a life changing amount of money.

GeoSweep.com co-founder, James Oakes said; “We have found that people are more likely to play on their house as it has such a personal connection. In the case of Wallington Avenue, it is unfortunate that nobody thought to have a flutter as we would love to be able to announce our first GeoSweep.com millionaire!”

The next £million draw is announced tomorrow at 12noon so to bag your own Geo plot before someone else does by visiting www.GeoSweep.com
