• One year on from launch, the Trustmarque Enterprise Solutions Group (TESG) exceeds growth targets by more than 30 percent
York, UK 18th October 2010: Value Added Reseller Trustmarque Solutions is delighted to announce that in the first twelve months since its launch, the Trustmarque Enterprise Solutions Group (TESG) has been a huge success, surpassing growth targets by 31 percent against a backdrop of economic uncertainty.
TESG was launched in September 2009 offering expertise in Managed Licence Services, Information Security, Technology Optimisation Solutions, Unified Communications, Business Solutions, Business Intelligence, and Project and Programme Management. TESG is dedicated to helping customers determine where technology can improve operational efficiency, maximise ROI, protect investment and reduce costs.
Twelve months on and already ahead of its two year plan, TESG is proving to be an incredibly successful part of Trustmarque’s offering. Every month since it was first launched, TESG has exceeded its monthly targets. Additionally, the launch of TESG has enabled Trustmarque to positively transform itself from a Large Account Reseller (LAR) to a Value Added Reseller (VAR).
During tough economic circumstances, Trustmarque has continued to invest heavily in its business while other resellers have been more cautious. With clients demanding ‘more for less’, Trustmarque recognised it needed to add greater value to its proposition for it to remain a market leader. It also wanted to deliver more strategic, value-add services to customers and key partners – hence the formation of TESG.

Askham Bryan College is one of many customers that have benefited from TESG’s unique services approach. Rather than simply answering the brief, TESG strived to deliver over and above what was originally requested. Using its own methodology and maturity model to understand Askham’s requirements, TESG assessed the problem and scoped out a resolution which made use of TESG’s server virtualisation knowledge and expertise in evaluating and demonstrating the impact a virtual infrastructure would have on Askham Bryan College’s data centre.
TESG completed the virtualisation of its servers to meet Askham’s deadline which had to coincide with its financial year. The deployment was delivered precisely to plan, a support contract is now in place, and Askham Bryan is enjoying efficiency gains, lower running costs, and renewed confidence in the overall IT system.
