hybris, a leading multichannel commerce software vendor, has announced the appointment of Peter Conquest as Director of Business Development for Telco Solutions, who will be responsible for broadening hybris´ marketshare in the Telco arena, where the company has already worked successfully with mobile phone distributors including Brightpoint and mobile network operators such as Telmore and Lebara.
Peter brings to hybris over 25 years experience marketing Operational and Business Support Systems and eCommerce solutions amongst international telecoms operators and service providers. Based in the UK, he will be responsible for opening new international business development and sales opportunities in the telecommunications sector for hybris.
Prior to joining hybris, Peter managed the Telco sales team at ATG, expanding that company’s footprint in Europe, Middle East and Latin America. He also spent five years at US-based Mediation and Business Analytics company, TeleSciences, building $multi-million revenues by winning large blue-chip Telco customers in Europe. Previously he was with ECtel winning contracts with telecoms operators and was BT Account Director for Azure during the period of its spin-out.
hybris is working closely with a number of companies in the telco sector, but with the appointment of Peter Conquest, it will be able to extend its focus further into the market. hybris’ approach includes also the launch of a solution dedicated to the needs of telecoms operators and service providers, and a full-scale sales and marketing campaign.
