Baring your legs after hiding them away for the Winter months can be somewhat daunting. John Lewis’s Beauty Buyer, Ian Ellis offers his top five beauty suggestions to say goodbye to pasty, dry skin and hello to healthy, firm and bronzed legs.

Stimulating Body Brush £8. Ian says;
‘The natural bristles in the brush revitalise the skin and a top tip is to dry brush your legs before showering to improve circulation and keep cellulite at bay.’

Follow by using Occo’s Raiyia No5 Body Scrub £25 to polish your skin and help enhance its elasticity with demerara sugar crystals, mimosa and iris. Ian says; ‘This scrub will compliment the body brush by continuing to buff up your skin tone and help boost circulation.’

After showering, pat legs dry and apply Elemis Body Sculpting Lipo-Refining Serum, £40.90, for a sleeker, smoother, more sculpted look. This Elemis sculpting serum is formulated with marine and plant extracts specifically selected for their effectiveness in helping to minimise the appearance of stubborn fatty deposits and to reduce the visible signs of cellulite. Ian says;
‘Even used over a matter of a few weeks, this serum will help dimpled skin look smoother and firmer.’

To moisturise, use Origins Precipitation Continuous Moisture Recovery For Body £21 which will sustain skin throughout the day and well in to the evening without leaving a greasy residue. Ian says; ‘The balm helps repair the skin and replaces lost moisture- a consequence of harsh winters and incessant central heating.’

To complete the look and create a healthy glow, apply St Tropez Everyday Perfect Legs Duo £18; an ultra-rich tanning duo that combines a gradual self tan and a flawless bronzed finish that's specifically designed for legs. Ian says; ‘This easy to apply lotion eliminates that tell tale ‘lack of sunshine’ look that frequently appears in Spring and by adding a hint of colour, your legs will appear more toned.’
