The anticipation is building up in both sides of North London this week as Arsenal and Tottenham look to defend one goal leads on the road to Wembley.

Arsenal take a 2-1 lead to the Nou Camp as they face Spanish champions Barcelona whilst Spurs will defend a 1-0 advantage as they welcome AC Milan to White Hart Lane, with going 3/1 that both North London sides qualify for the next round of the competition.

Arsenal, despite their superb performance at The Emirates three weeks ago, face a daunting task in the Catalan capital, where they were hammered 4-1 just 12 months ago. is 14/1 on another 4-1 victory for Barca and 15/8 on the home side to win by three or more goals on the night. Lionel Messi is 10/1 to score a hat-trick against the Gunners, just as he did in this fixture last season.

Cesc Fabregas, a player who continues to be linked with a move back to Barcelona, is rated as “90% likely” to play by Arsene Wenger and is 6/1 that the Spanish midfielder starts and scores for the visitors. A Fabregas hat-trick is at 150/1 whilst a red card for the Arsenal captain is at 33/1.

On Wednesday night, Spurs will look to progress against Milan at The Lane with going 16/1 that Harry Redknapp’s side loses on the night having held the lead at any point. The home side are 5/4 to win on the night and 2/7 to qualify for the next round.

“It is another huge weekend for Champions League football and fans of both the white and red side of North London will be hoping that their sides can hold on to their slender leads,” said Head of Public Relations, Leon Blanche.

“Arsenal face a huge task at the home of what many believe to be the best team in the world whilst Spurs have the home advantage. We’re expecting plenty of twists and turns over the course of both games.”
