The triumphant England rugby team spent three days at an Oxfordshire health club as part of their preparation for their upcoming Six Nations game against Scotland.

Stars like Lewis Moody, Toby Flood and Jonny Wilkinson were at the Oxfordshire Health and Racquets Club in Woodstock Road, Oxford, to get ready for their upcoming match against Scotland, who they play on Sunday (March 13) and hope to overcome to remain unbeaten in the tournament.

As well as relaxing and using the state-of-the-art facilities to maintain their fitness, the players also trained on the fields at St Edward’s School, which the health club shares its grounds with.

Manager Nick Csemiczky said: “They were perfectly happy talking to members and signing autographs and having photos taken with them. It was nice to see such high-profile sportsmen being so friendly and accessible.

“They were a really great group of lads and it created a fantastic buzz around the health club.

“We even found that enrolment went up as word got around our members and their friends and family!”

The squad were so impressed with the treatment they received at the Oxfordshire Health and Racquets Club they all signed an official shirt, which is set to be framed and displayed in the club.

Nick added: “All the staff would be delighted to have them back and we wish them luck in the next stage of what is turning out to be fantastic Six Nations.”
