Glasfryn Wake Parc will host the Spring Wakeboard Open on Saturday 2nd April 2011 – a great idea for an activity holiday in Wales. The fun contest is designed for all standards of riders and there will be five divisions to cater for everyone. Glasfryn Wake Parc will be cracking the champagne on their brand new wake park features.

Not content with the awesome Relentless Leviathan and Kicker they have teamed up with Industry Wake Parks to create three new features - two wall rides and a new flat bar. Evening entertainment includes a bar, ten-pin bowling and live music – an ideal family holiday location. There will also be the monthly Glasfryn Farmers Market with around twenty stalls. Glasfryn Wake Parc will be open from 5th March 2011 and to make sure you can get your practice in, there’s a special offer for March: buy five rides and get one for free!

Glasfryn Wakeparc opened in July 2010 and is the first wake park to open in North Wales, and an excellent destination for those seeking an activity holiday in Wales. It is part of Glasfryn Parc, a large
activity centre on the A499 just outside Pwllheli. During the Spring Wakeboard Open all of Glasfryn’s other activities will be available including go-karts, quad bikes, ten-pin bowling, soft play centre, bar, café and a Farmers Market from 10am – 3pm. And don’t forget, there’s plenty of free parking and everyone’s welcome to come along and watch.

Entry to compete in the Spring Wakeboard Open is available to any rider, of any standard. Entry is £25 per person for over 16s and £15 per person for under 16s. The entry includes a practice in the morning, the competition pass in the afternoon and an amazing locally produced Glasfryn burger for your evening meal. Pro riders will be on hand to give tips and coaching during all the practice.
