Specialist awards ceremony nominates leading voucher codes website in 2011 shortlist

The specialist money saving website has received a nomination for the social media promotion work it did around its innovative 12 Days of Christmas promotional campaign.

In shortlisting for the 2011 ceremony, A4UAwards recognised the 12 Days of Christmas campaign in the ‘Best Use of Social Media’ category. conducted the campaign in the period ahead of Christmas 2010, and A4UAwards will announce the winners of each category at the ceremony to take place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on May 17. was founded in 2009 and in the two years since the company has developed a large and loyal fan base of users. The 12 Days of Christmas scheme ran via social media websites Facebook and Twitter, with the company reporting a huge rise in followers of 59% throughout the duration of the promotion. Hand in hand with this associated merchants reported big increases in sales and revenue figures thanks to the scheme.

Commenting on the nomination, an A4U judge said: “A big bang event - good planning, flexible working, great collateral and a very strong financial result. Excellent once-a-year activity."
