Launched at Hamleys in London just three weeks ago, the acclaimed Limited Edition Princess Catherine Engagement Doll has captured the attention of the global marketplace.

The Princess Catherine Engagement Doll will also be launching this week in the USA’s two premier toy stores; FAO Schwarz and Toys ‘R’ Us Times Square.

Lucie Follett, a spokesperson for Arklu the company behind the doll, says the demand for the Princess Catherine Engagement Doll, has been “amazing”.

She added: “We are stunned by the reception of the public in the UK and globally, especially America, to our Princess Catherine Engagement Doll.

We have now almost sold out of the 10,000 limited edition dolls and if people are still keen to buy one we urge them to do so quickly while stocks last.”

Recent media coverage of the Princess Catherine Engagement Doll has focused on the quality of British designers who collaborated to create the toy and the high attention to detail.

The charitable donation of £1 to Help for Heroes for every £34.95 doll sold has also been positively received.

Alana Warwick, a spokesperson for Help For Heroes says:
‘We are thrilled at the amazing response and popularity of the Princess Catherine Doll. It’s wonderful to see how many people are supporting the Royal Wedding and in turn, supporting our wounded Heroes. Thank you to everyone who has so far bought the doll and made it the success it is and we would also particularly like to say a huge thank you to Arklu for deciding to support Help for Heroes with this beautifully made doll.’

And in the week following the launch of the doll, research from Experian showed that that on-line searches for “kate middleton doll” doubled, revealing a huge climb in interest for the toy from UK internet shoppers.

Now Arklu are hoping that Royal Wedding collectors and children alike will be just as keen to buy their forthcoming Princess Catherine Wedding Doll and a Prince William Doll.

A host of top British designers and stylists have already pledged their support for the new Royal Wedding dolls and, as with the Princess Catherine Engagement Doll, attention to detail will be paramount.
