Manchester United booked a Champions League final clash with Barcelona last night and Sir Alex Ferguson’s men are at 12/1 to celebrating an injury time goal at Wembley, just as they did at the Nou Camp in 1999.

As TV commentators talk about “that magical night in Barcelona”, when Man Utd scored two injury time goals against Bayern Munich to win the 1999 European Championship and complete a memorable treble, Boylesports.com is offering 12/1 that United score a goal in second half injury time of the Wembley final and 20/1 that Fergie’s boys come from a losing position to win the match within 90 minutes.

On the reverse, Boylesports.com is 9/1 that United lose the match from a winning position within the 90 minutes.

Barcelona start the match as 10/11 favourites, with United 3/1 and the draw at 9/4, with a price of 11/2 that the match is decided in extra time and 9/2 that it goes the distance to a penalty shootout.

Barcelona came through a feisty semi-final with arch rivals Real Madrid, with 11 yellow cards and one red handed out over the two legs, and Boylesports.com goes 10/1 on more than 10 yellow cards being issued. United are 10/11 to get the bulk of those cards, with Barcelona 9/4 to pick up more than their opponents and the tie at 5/2.

“This is the final that many neutral supporters would have wanted and United supporters will never forget their success in Barcelona back in 1999,” said Boylesports.com PR spokesperson Nicola McGeady.
“Ryan Giggs might be the only survivor from that night but with memories of Sheringham and Solskjær fresh in the memory, an injury-time thriller might be on the cards at Wembley.”
