Sebastian Vettel is being strongly backed to pick up a fourth pole position in a row at this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix, with Boylesports.com going 8/13 that the World Champion starts from the front of the grid on Sunday.

The Red Bull driver, who leads the championship with two wins and a second place finish, has started all three Grand Prix’s from the front this season and Boylesports.com is odds-on that he makes it four from four on Saturday.

Such is Vettel’s dominance in qualifying that the bookmaker is 6/1 that it is until after the Monaco Grand Prix that the German fails to secure pole position. Vettel is 6/5 to fail to claim pole in Istanbul, with 5/2 that the first time that he doesn’t claim pole for the Spanish Grand Prix Barcelona. 9/2 is on Vettel’s first non-pole start to be in Monte Carlo.

Despite a mixed start for Vettel’s teammate, Mark Webber, Boylesports.com is 7/2 on a Red Bull 1-2, whilst a 1-2 for the McLaren duo of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton is at 8/1.
With Vettel claiming victory in the opening two races of the season, Boylesports.com goes 11/10 on a pole-to-flag victory for any driver.

“Sebastian Vettel’s consistency in qualifying so far this season makes the World Champion the obvious choice for pole position this weekend in Turkey,” said Boylesports.com PR spokesperson Nicola McGeady.

“The interest for us is to see how long Vettel can keep up this blistering pace as he looks to defend his Formula One championship.”
