Team Arcadius Sports

We had a fantastic time at this event which was a lot of fun and supporting a fantastic cause

Team Arcadius Sports won the 2nd Help for Heroes Karting event at Buckmore Park on Saturday 21st May 2011 in the annual event supporting wounded servicemen and women. The charity was established in October 2007 and to date has raised over £96m.

The Arcadius Sports team comprised of Nathan Wright and James Fletcher who both compete in the Formula Jedi series together with Ollie Millroy who is currently 3rd in the UK Formula Renault series and Jordan Hill who competes in Club 100 Karting. The 3-hour endurance event raised almost £8,000 in 2010 for Help for Heroes and hopes to raise a similar amount from the 2011 event. The team finished 6 laps ahead of their closest rivals.

Reading based driver Nathan Wright commented:

“We had a fantastic time at this event which was a lot of fun and supporting a fantastic cause. It is a while since I have been at Buckmore Park and some of the racing was quite fierce out there today! This is the first time we have entered Karting for Heroes and we hope to be able to support this event in the future”

Arcadius Sports is pleased to support this event and would like to thank all four drivers for their participation and Hydraquip for organising this event.
