The Cure Leukaemia Fun Run will take part on Sunday 12th June in Sutton Coldfield Park
The Cure Leukaemia Fun Run will take part on Sunday 12th June in Sutton Coldfield Park, and locals are encouraged to take part, as organisers are still taking bookings for the race. With three different races, of different lengths, there is something for every fitness level, enabling everyone to take part.
There are to be 3 races, 10K, 5K and 1K. The event is now in its 6th year, and there are set to be additional elements to the day for the whole family to enjoy including, Face Painting, a Bouncy Castle, Book Stall, Plant Stall, and other attractions.
The event is being sponsored by Angel Springs, the UK’s leading water cooler service provider, who will be donating 1500 bottles of water for runners. This is the second year that Angel Springs have supported the run and last year’s event was a huge success, raising over £20K. This amount of money will pay for a Leukaemia research nurse for 12 months, and this year organisers are hoping to top last year, with a target of 25K.
Show your support by taking part or sponsoring someone who is. Every pound counts, so whatever you can raise will be very welcome.
