IP Trade first to market with the Mobile Trader voice application

IP Trade creates a Mobile Trader application for the Cisco Cius tablet computer

Liege, Belgium – July, 2011 – IP Trade Networks, the global leader in native IP-based systems for professional traders, today announced an industry first with the release of their Mobile Trader application for the Cisco Cius business tablet.
The solution represents another opportunity for IP Trade clients to further lower the cost of providing trader voice functions to their users.

Mobile Trader is a software application that allows for compliant, remote access to trader voice resources that are typically restricted to the trading floor environment. Using Mobile Trader, front and middle office users can access trader voice contacts and lines so that they can still be part of the trade process whilst on the move.

The Cisco Cius is a portable collaboration business tablet. It allows for mobile communications through its support of Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n), 3G/4G and Bluetooth 3.0. Through the integration with the 7” Android Cius tablet, IP Trade now offer a market leading collaboration tool that focuses on providing users with secure, regulatory compliant access to trader voice resources.

IP Trade were the first to bring to market professional trader voice systems that leverage the enterprise VoIP architecture rather than requiring proprietary back-end switches. The latest T3 turret range is already well established and with this latest addition, users can now have visibility of and participate in trading floor calls from their business tablet while working remotely. Furthermore, the application also allows for simple access to cloud based collaboration tools such as Cisco WebEx, and also supports video conferencing interoperability.
