Event’s theme ‘A world of difference: testing tomorrow’s applications’ to be discussed by leaders in QA and software testing
London, UK – 26 July 2011 - TestExpo, the UK’s pre-eminent software testing event has announced its initial sponsors and exhibitors. The event, which is set to take place 22 September is once again welcoming the leading names in quality assurance and testing to support one of the longest running and well respected events in the industry.
For over 15 years TestExpo has been home to some of the most engaging conversations around the practice of software testing. The tradition of rich discussions will continue this autumn as sponsors, exhibitors and vendors will be offering their thoughts on the show’s theme: A world of difference: testing tomorrow’s applications.
This autumn’s show will see a mix of sponsors. TestExpo sponsors Green Hat and Original Software, two of the leading automated software testing firms will be participating once again as sponsors alongside sponsor iTrinegy, an expert in networked application performance. Microsoft, the worldwide leader software, services and solutions will also be a key sponsor.
Harreet Khara, event manager for TestExpo said: “There’s no shortage of excitement in the run up to each TestExpo event. Our sponsors and exhibitors are the driving force behind the event. It’s wonderful that such prominent names in our industry are so eager to participate and lend their support to the event.”
TestExpo’s semi annual event was created to bring the emphasis of learning to software testing. Organised by Sogeti, the leading provider of professional technology services, attendees are encouraged to understand the event’s theme through a full day’s worth of presentations and bring the knowledge obtained from colleagues across the industry back into the field.
Participation is a major focal point of TestExpo, and its Innovation Panel, a one-of-a-kind event, offers attendees the chance to interact with qualified subject matter experts on a variety of testing topics. Panelists include Sogeti SMEs and premier and key sponsors of TestExpo. This autumn, the Innovation Panel will keep its focus on the theme of testing tomorrow’s applications today during its discussion ‘What to expect: testing today’s standards for tomorrow’. It will draw on information gleaned from this summer’s World Quality Report and expertise of the panel. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions either online or by emailing event organiser Harreet Khara at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additional key sponsors and exhibitors at this year’s autumn event include Epicentre, another leader in software testing and consultancy. Seapine Software, a global application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions provider is also sponsoring TestExpo while BCS: The Chartered Institute for IT is returning as an exhibitor to the event.
“The focus of the event is finding and testing tomorrow’s applications today. With such a distinguished lineup of sponsors and exhibitors and with more to announce, we’re sure this TestExpo will be another great success.” Harreet Khara said. ”We raised the bar for ourselves in the spring with the work completed with our survey on innovation and with the innovation panel. We’re looking forward to exceeding and providing an even more rewarding experience to attendees in September.”
