In his new role, Richard will be responsible for all Nebulas’ sales activities and will manage the company’s direct sales team. In addition to managing the day-to-day sales activities, he will be responsible for developing new business across Nebulas’ entire portfolio. Before joining Nebulas, Richard spent four years at Cybersource, the payment management company where he was Head of Sales, during which time the company’s revenues saw a five-fold increase. Previously, Richard worked in sales and account management at Dell for three years. In addition to Richard’s appointment, Nebulas has further strengthened its internal team by promoting Tim Kirk to Technical Manager. In addition to managing the company’s technical team, Tim’s responsibilities will extend across resourcing, pre and post sales consultancy, developing vendor relationships and defining future product strategy. Before joining Nebulas three years ago, Tim worked for the BBC and then Virgin TV where he was responsible for the entire VMTV network and security estate. With more than 10 years’ IT experience, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role, including specific expertise in networks, firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention solutions.
