Large numbers of companies throughout Europe are taking Windows
2000 very seriously, according to Richard Harrison, Principal
Technologist with Content Master. The first of three scheduled
Windows 2000 Deployment conferences was held in Geneva, last week,
with the aim of informing delegates about the technical details
of the product, now it is 'on the streets'.

Richard Harrison, who has been involved in training Microsoft
staff in Windows 2000, was part of a team of experts which fielded
several hundred, delegate questions throughout the conference. The
conference was aimed at IT professionals who are now working with
Windows 2000 or who have imminent rollout plans.

As Richard explains "From the technical depth of many of the
questions, it is obvious that Windows 2000 is being taken very
seriously in Europe. In addition to making a commitment to the product, companies are also showing their eagerness to use its additional
functionality. This was highlighted by the fact that virtually every
technical area of Windows 2000 was discussed during the three days of
the conference".

Content Master Limited was founded to service the increasing demand
for leading edge technical content. The company specialises in the
production of high-end technical information ranging from modular
