During the Summer Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw, Llanbedrog, Llŷn Peninsula will once again host a varied agenda of events for the whole family, a perfect addition to your UK family holiday.

Starting with the summer exhibition - a chance to view and buy original artwork by our gallery artists such as William Selwyn, Howard Coles, Karel Lek, Elin Huws and many more. Included in this years’ exhibition will also be six new artists to the Plas - a full list of artists can be found on our website.

During the six week summer holidays break there will be adult and children’s art workshops with the 'Winllan' (the Gallery’s woodland) as a running theme throughout. Three professional artists have been invited to hold workshops - a sculptor (Ivan Murray), a textile artist (Alison Mercer) and a painter (Emily Gregory Smith). This is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to enjoy and learn new skills.
Due to popular demand we will once again stage two Welsh folk evenings (Noson Lawen) this summer. A chance for locals and visitors alike to experience a taste of our unique culture. As usual there will be an annual ‘Mid Summer Music’ concert, and this year we are lucky enough to present the talented 'Lunar sax quartet' who will be joined by ‘Eryl Jones and his band’.

Hope you will visit us this summer as part of your UK family holiday and take part and enjoy the various events on offer. To book tickets, workshops or for further information on any of the events contact the Gallery.
