Fed up with boring emails?

Televirtual today put some dram onto the desktop with launch of Face-Mail, the world's first animated, multi-mood email service.

Now you can E-rage, E-mope, and Glad-mail your friends, family and colleagues, with the aid of a cast of engaging comic characters that live in your PC and recite your mail with changing expressions and moods. What's more, you can trigger those changes yourself as you compose messages to others. The result is not just email- it's entertainment!

Email-with-Attitude characters are available via the Internet from <> where a growing cast of talking heads wait to download. Each comes empowered with it's own Text-To-Speech (TTS) voice and Televirtual's own Emotion Engine which renders each character capable of switching from Happy to Sad or Angry as well as Normal delivery.

With Face-Mail, your Internet correspondents really get the message!

Currently restricted to English language only, the Face-Mail website will soon have downloadable characters for French, German, Japanese and Spanish users.

The service integrates with Microsoft Outlook 97, 98, 2000, or operates alongside most other Email utilities. After a 30 day free trial, registration allows access to a growing library of animated agents.

Personalised Avatars will soon be able to import into the system.
