...QSoft Consulting, owner of Gaydar, uses Computop to enable growth of the brand in European markets…

London, United Kingdom – 4 October, 2011. Computop, a leading payment service provider (PSP), is working with QSoft Consulting, owner of Gaydar, to expand its payment processing and banking partners across Europe for its Gaydar branded services. The partnership has enabled an eight per cent increase in subscription-based customers, due to a wider selection of payment services and a smooth checkout process offered to customers in countries with a low penetration of credit cards.

Trevor Martin, CEO of QSoft Consulting, comments, “The fact that we have a much wider choice of payment options available to customers has given us a real competitive advantage. This is particularly true for countries where consumers are reluctant to use credit cards for transactions. Computop’s expertise on international payment issues and the idiosyncrasies within the different European countries is helping us offer a far wider choice of payment options to customers.”

Computop is managing QSoft’s payment processing for Gaydar through its Paygate 4.0 system. The service manages payment processing throughout Europe, offers local country debit card processing and enables transactions through international payment and online banking transfer schemes. Its comprehensive automated fraud prevention services mitigate risk for QSoft whilst protecting its customers in real-time and without disrupting order processing.

Martin continues, “Computop has cut through the cost and complexity of managing payment processing with acquiring banks and delivering the right mix of payment methods for us across Europe.”

Ralf Gladis, CEO of Computop comments, “In order to deliver this improved payment service to QSoft, we have drawn on our unique financial services partner network, and state of the art technology platform. Paygate integrates seamlessly with online shop, ERP and accounting systems and payment options can be individually configured for domestic and international markets with ease.”
